Orange Cupcakes

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the sugar, butter, and zest. Add eggs.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, orange juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Alternate combining the dry ingredients and wet ingredients to butter mixture. Line cupcake pan.
  5. Fill each liner 3/4 of the way full with batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let cool. Serve as desired.
